On August 1st, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a final rule that updates the inpatient prospective payment system rate for fiscal year (FY) 2023. This HEA summary reviews health equity and maternal health measures that were added to the Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) program and potential implications for LHS.
